Why this name

Easy to say, easy to sell, easy to remember.

1

Six letters, one idea

3dplab reads as 3DP Lab, 3D Print Lab or 3D Printing Lab — one word, no hyphen, no spelling quiz on the phone.

2

Exact match for the trade

Any customer searching for 3D printing understands it instantly. It works for a print farm, a design studio, a filament brand or a SaaS tool.

3

Dot-net credibility

.net is the established second choice for technology and manufacturing brands — and the .com of this idea is well out of reach.

4

Ready the same day

No build, no backlog, no stale site. The domain transfers on payment and can be serving your own pages within the hour.

Safe by default

Neither side has to trust the other.

✓

Escrow holds the money

Payment sits with a neutral third party — Escrow.com, or any escrow or marketplace you already use — and is released only once the domain is sitting in your registrar account.

You never wire money to a stranger. If the transfer fails, your funds go back to you.

✓

Proof of ownership, before you pay

Ask for any one of these, free and reversible:

• a DNS TXT record containing a code you invent
• a registrar screenshot showing the registrant account

✓

Standard registrar transfer

You receive the EPP authorisation code, or the domain is pushed to your account at the same registrar — the same flow any registrar documents publicly.

Typical completion: same day for a push, 1–5 days between registrars.

How the sale works

Three steps, no drama.

  1. Send your offer. Email with a number and your timeline. You get a straight yes, no, or counter — usually within a day.
  2. Open escrow. Tell me your preferred service and I will set the transaction up. You review the terms and fund escrow — the money stays with the escrow agent, not with me.
  3. Take the keys. The domain moves to your account and the auth code is handed over. You confirm receipt, escrow releases, done.

Straight answers

The questions every buyer asks.

How do I know you actually own the domain?

Ask and I will prove it before any money moves — with a DNS TXT record on the domain containing a code you choose, or a screenshot of the registrar account. Pick whichever you trust most, both take minutes and can be removed afterwards.

Do I pay before I receive the domain?

No. With escrow, your payment is held by the escrow agent and released only after you confirm the domain is in your account and working. That is the whole point of using it.

How long does the transfer take?

An account push at the same registrar is usually same-day. A transfer between different registrars is typically 1–5 days. The registration is paid through November 2027, so nothing expires in the middle of the deal.

Can we use my marketplace or escrow instead of yours?

Yes. If you would rather settle through Escrow.com, Sedo, Dan.com, Afternic or your own broker, say so — the sale still goes through escrow, just the one you already trust.
